”After Phronesis charmed the audience at the 2011 edition of Green Hours JAZZ Fest, then playing for the first time in Romania, we are now pleased to introduce you a new premiere: Jasper Høiby’s fresh project: ”Fellow Creatures”. Ladies and gents, please welcome back to Green Hours one of the finest musicians and friends: Jasper Høiby!” (Voicu Rădescu – GHJFest executive director)
Featuring both young and seasoned lights of the London jazz scene, this band is the first new venture for Jasper’s own music since his formation of Phronesis in 2005. The music combines a deep sense of groove and an optimistic, driving energy with contrapuntal rhythms and strong lyricism, leading JAZZWISE to describe the band as “masters of evolving energy”.
