Hristo Yotsov creates “Jazz Cats” in 2016 as a club project, inspired by the bebop tradition. It is obvious from the very beginning, that the band has a much greater potential. The mastery of the four, the bond between them and the energy they share, leads to composing of new original songs by Yotsov, giving more festival and concertlike spirit of the project. 
In 2017, “Jazz Cats” released their first album, and toured around the country on festival and club stage. In March 2018, the band performed with great success in Barcelona, Arnau’s hometown.
In 2019, the second album of the band – “Jazz Cats 2” – has been released. The songs, as in the previous album, are again composed by Hristo Yotsov, and this time the music has more jazz fusion characteristics.
Why “Cats”? “Cats” is a common expression  among jazz musicians around the world, which shows respect and recognition of one’s mastery, achievements, and professionalism. There is also a personal motive: Hristo Yotsov has long owned domestic cats, and claims to know and understand these incredible creatures. That’s why the track titles are related to various cat moods and characteristics, that are typical for people as well: “Angry Cats”, “Lazy Cats”, “Motion Cats”, “Mystical Cats”, “Happy Cats”, etc.

☼ intrarea publicului se face începînd cu 30 de minute înainte de ora anunţată a evenimentului.
