When you say “jazz” in Bucharest, you automatically think of Green Hours, the oldest standing club in Romania after ‘89.
Probably the first cultural hub in Romania, long before this term was ”abused”, Green Hours has hosted jazz, electronic, blues, world or alternative live music events since 1994.

September 1st, 2025, 7PM
On September 1st 2025, Green Hours is turning 31 years of existence, experience and passion and we are about to celebrate with a very special event:
Maria Răducanu & Krister Jonsson duo
They have played together since almost 20 years, in duo and in other different configurations, in Romania and around the world, in clubs and festivals.
And we are really happy that after a break of 3 years Krister will come back to Bucharest, too Green Hours’ stage for this very special occasion.
A bit about Green Hours
A symbol of the underground theater movement and one of the most famous jazz clubs in Bucharest, Green Hours was founded in 1994, in the center of the capital, on Calea Victoriei 120, by Voicu Rădescu.
It is the first cultural hub in Romania – before this term was known and abused.
Over the years, some of the most appreciated theater and music people have crossed our threshold and delighted us, from Maia Morgenstern to Marius Manole, from Nils Petter Molvaer to Maria Răducanu.
